Stubborn boil

Sometimes, we get an irritating boil on the back of our body. The itchiness and discomfort may bother us for a while. I found that besides applying Lavender oil, it is beneficial to apply the Thieves oil. Thieves oil made of spices, is highly anti-bacterial.

One year on. Still stable blood sugar

If you read the october 2010 post, I wrote about Lawrence Yeap's mother who benefitted greatly from Ocotea. It is now more than 12 months and I am told her blood sugar level is stable. As we age, we must take care of our cardiovasular system.

As for me, I am a taking the Omega Blue which has omega 3 which is derived from small fish so that there is no mercury. It also has other Young Living oils in the capsule to keep the fish oil from turning rancid and also helps improve circulation.

RC oil to the rescue

I have this reaction to alcohol, be it beer or wine, that my nose gets blocked or stuffy after drinking. Sometimes this is also the reaction from eating food that has too much MSG. It is really uncomfortable going to bed like this. Using peppermint would help but would be too energized. I tried the Young Living RC oil blend that is - respiratory control and it worked. Applying to my neck and chest areas, I could feel the relief within minutes.

Inner defense to the rescue

Just before 9am, I heard a beep on my phone. There was a message from Felicia "Quite effective. Almost down with flu n after taking 2 times yesterday, can come to work". She was referring to the Inner Defense capsules that she took on Sunday. This morning, she is charged up and sent me the message.

Felicia received the Inner Defense on Saturday and it was just timely. She was feeling under the weather and had Inner Defense to her rescue.

Is it a stub, a swelling, an irritation on the finger

When Siew Hwa showed me the stubby joint on her finger, there was some abrasion too probably from household chores. Apparently, she has tried various creams, ointments before and the stubby area seems to be uncomfortable and skin seems to be peeling too. Last Saturday, she tried the Young Living Animal Scent oinment on her finger and amazingly, she broke into a smile minutes later and said "look, the swelling seems to have come down".  She was so happy to show Frances the remarkable and magical effect on her finger joint.  On sunday, I saw that the abrasion on the finger is also gone. Just a dab of this wonderful ointment is all it takes. Say Cheese - great shot.

 

Sleep - wonderful to be able to calm down and sleep soundly

Many parents struggle to keep up with chidren who are hyperactive and difficult to calm down before sleeping.  I recommended Peace & calming oil blend and over the weekend, I was delighted to hear that a hyperactive boy who tend to be very alert even before bedtime could eventually calm down very quickly in five minutes and sleep soundly. This is a common struggle most parents have coaxing children to sleep.

The peace & calming oil is a blend of Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils. When the parent can calm the child down and also have more time for herself, this is surely a positive change.  It is so simple, just applying the oil on the bottoms of the feet and the shoulder. Isnt this priceless when you need to  use less energy and time for daily activity like that.

Magical - great. it works for Knee pain

After the golf game, I got out of the changing room and was feeling some strain in the left knee. It seems the knee cap has shifted somewhat and the area around it was pulling and just don't feel normal. When I got home, I sat at my computer for a while and when I got up, there was a stinging pain in the left knee. Instinctively, I reached for the Young Living's Balsam Fir in the drawer. Put drops of it around the knee cap and within minutes, my knee felt good.

The strain in the left knee that I felt earlier was gone. I am back to my tennis game and my knee did not give me any problem.  

Update on chicken pox

Loads of laughter amidst anxiety and yet there is calmness in the mind

Yesterday was one unforgettable day. At the 18th hole of the golf course, my buggy mate, Walter, decided that he need to make a dash for the toilet at the club house and I picked up 4 clubs to continue to play. As he drove the buggy away, I realized my phone was in the pouch and I asked Ben in the second buggy to chase him to retrieve my pouch. Ben came back empty handed and said there was no pouch in the buggy.

Even though I was anxious, I Teed off with a pretty good shot and then made a dash to the clubhouse with the four clubs in my hand. The 400 metre dash may not seem much to most people but it sure was odd with the clubs in the hand.

Walter was quick thinking and took my pouch with him even though he went to the toilet in a big hurry. In his words spoken in jest, "Because you are not a bad person and so despite the tummy ache, I still took care of your pouch". We all had loads of laughter at lunch.

Well, Walter recovered from his tennis elbow and some joint pains that he had for many years using Wintergreen and Deep relief, and surely my recommendations are well worth the effort.

Despite the 400metres dash in the hot sun at noon, I wasn't panting. I was not panicking but was anxious because I was to meet someone later and need the phone. Isn't it great, my stamina was really put to the test and thanks to Ningxia Red that I drink regularly.

Simple fix to overcome stomach bloatedness and feeling of indigestion

I have been taking Essentialzyme for stomach discomfort and indigestion when it happens especially after heavy meals. For some people, they may experience longer term discomfort over many years and we have found that Di-gize  has shown to be remarkably useful. Just puting two drops into the water and drink, in a few minutes, the discomfort went away. Over three days, this was put to test and happy to see that another person is able to overcome the problem that he has experienced for many years.

Dealing with cough

WJ's grandpa had a bout of cough and tonsilitis. After taking medication for a week, he was still not well. The question was how can the oils help him deal with the condition so that he can recover faster. Applying RC on his chest and neck was calming. He liked it a lot. He also appled the Thieves oil on the soles of the feet. After two days, I heard he was already much better. Oh not forgetting the thieves spray for the irritation in his throat.

Hooray. Simple things like that can improve the quality of life of an old man.

Recovery from flu

SL was unwell for two weeks. Still did not recover from flu despite medication. I passed her Young Living's "Inner Defense" capsules and she told me she felt better after taking it.   INNER DEFENSE contains THIEVES, THYME, OREGANO. It is perfect for dealing with infections.

Sulfurzyme is good for hair and joints

Young Living's *Sulfurzyme* is known to be beneficial to people who have joint pains. It also helps to improve absorption of minerals and also helps in the hair health. Those with brittle and stiff hair will find that after drinking sulfurzyme for a period of time, the hair fallout is less.  Some people think that thinning hair is hereditary because the other family members also have similar problem of hair fallout. They willl be delighted that there is hope  in that the condition  can be improved. In fact, the new grown hair is thinner and stronger. I have heard testimony and have seen it. Dealing with chicken pox

Alvin is an adult and was inflicted with the pains and discomforts of chicken pox a few weeks ago. Besides using the thieves, peppermint oils to help to bring down the fever, he also used Lavender for the scars and also to reduce the itch. Good news he is much better now and his skin condition improved remarkably after drinking lots of ningxia Red everyday.

Arm in cast - no itch

Three months ago, Ellyna's aunt had a fall and ended up with hair line fracture in the right arm around the wrist area.  The bone seemed to have jutted out and she was put on cast. The pain was excruciating and she could not sleep at night. Having heard about Richard Ho's personal experience of fracture, she recommended her aunt to use the Raindrop set.

Her aunt used some of the oils and applied on the arm at the nearest points which are at the ends of the cast. Her arm did not itch despite being in the cast. In fact, when the cast was removed, the skin of the cast area was normal and there was no rash or itch. The pain that she felt initially was also reduced. We know Young Living oils have anti inflammatory and anit bacterial properties and helped  in reduceing the discomfort and also helped in the healing.

Stomach bloatedness and relief

Felicia experienced stomach congestion and discomfort before lunch when we met in Feb. After applying the YL peppermint oil, she felt some relief. The next day, she called m and told me  how wonderful she felt in the afternoon. Soon after we left, she managed to empty her bowels. Her mother and children also have benefited from this wonderful oil. Good for whole family

Young Living Thieves Household Cleaner

We got a bottle of the Young Living Thieves Cleaner this month and with just half a cap in a pail of water, the floor felt squeaky clean for a much longer period and smells good.

Arm scalded by cooking oil

On May 7, I saw Wen Jie's grandma's arm had a pretty bad scalded patch. She had cooking oil splashed on her arm for two weeks already and the cream that she had applied did not seem to help in recovery. In fact, there is big patch of sore around the wound.  I applied Young Living's Lavender oil on the patch including the swelling around it. In two days, she said the wound already covered completely and there was no pus.

One week later ( bottom pic), you can see the wound has been healing and she could do her usual chores of washing already. The right pic taken on May 21 shows how remarkable the healing has been.  You can see the therapeutic properites of Young Living oils. Applying drops of the Lavender oil over the wound and surrounding area, there was no infection nor was there a need to put a plaster over it. I am so happy to have intervened and given help to a hard working and very good hearted old lady of 70+.

Body odour

SL has problem of body odour for most of her adult life. One month ago, she tried the AromaGuard Meadow Mist Deodorant. In just one week, the biggest problem that has plagued her is finally gone.

Swollen lips

Justina got up from bed 3 days ago and felt her lips feeling uncomfortable. Her lower lip was swollen. It sure looked one of those pictures you see of a kissing fish that has swollen lips. Applying Young Living lavender oil on her lips, the swelling was reduced. Two days later her lips is back to normal.

There are always surprises in daily life, but once you have the oils, you can deal with the situations easily.

All active sports person should have these oils

Two weeks ago I bought a new tennis racquet and had two games in 3 days. Unfortunately, I have not adjusted to the new racquet and seems the stiffer frame caused vibrations, and my arm and wrist hurt after the games. After the first game, I felt the pain (tennis elbow) and swelling in my arm and was not sure if that was due to the racket. I applied winter green generously on arm and agreed to play the next game. After the second game, my arm hurt so badly that I could not even hold the mop on Saturday morning. When I swing my arm gently (not holding any item), it was very painful. Again I applied Wintergreen on various parts of my arm.

 I was so worried that I could not continue with my golf game on Sunday. Unfortunately, I could not find replacement at the last minute and decided to play the game. Good thing that I could swing my clubs and even though there was still discomfort in my arm, I could play the game.
This week, I want to nurse my arm to much better condition before I play tennis again. I decided to apply Balsam Fir on my arm too. I notice the tension in my arm is greatly reduced and less discomfort.

I believe all active sports person should use Winter Green and Balsam fir to nurse strained muscles. They have been so useful to me to recover quickly.

Fast recovery with Wintergreen and Orthoease

J has always been conscious of not carrying things with the left hand or straining the left arm. Lymphnodes has been removed on the left side  many years ago, Last weekend, she carried a couple of light items with her arms folded for probably about 30 minutes. On monday, there was a massive swelling around the lymph node area. Because of the surgery, fluid can get congested there. Also she complained of pain in the arm and discomfort on the left side of her body.

Instinctively, she used the Young Living's wintergreen and applied on the area, her arm and the left side of the body. To add further relieve, ortho ease was applied on her shoulder, shoulder blade and down the side.

By the end of the day, she already felt better and the swelling in the lymphnode area already gone down. By tuesday, she already got a smile on her face. All the discomfort and pain are gone in 24 hours.

Quick recovery

The heavy eating and swing in the weather was taking a toll on my body. I could feel it coming. I took Inner defense for a few days. Over the weekend I caught a chill and the symptoms started popping up. Nose congestion and scratchy throat. I applied RC on my neck and chest and used peppermint oil regularly. I also applied and drank thieves oil.

Once our body succumbs to it, it will have to work its way. On Tuesday, I developed a slight fever, I used the oils in the day and was under control. At night, I put drops of Thieves and Oregano into a capsule and swallowed it. I got up on Wednesday feeling fresh and the body temperature was back to normal. What was amazing is that though my throat seemed scratchy, I did not have sore throat. Occasionally, I would cough out the phlegms. I did not use paracetamol at all. The recovery was quick. Good that I have the oils at home and ready to use them.

Bruised veins and arteries on foot

Felicia's sprained foot was covered with a big plaster and concealed a huge patch of bruise. After removing the plaster, it was really shocking and scary. I got hold of Lavender oil from my car and spread 5 drops over the area. Within minutes, all of us there saw the swelling and bruise reduced.

EK shared with me this morning that he applied RC oil on his neck area when he felt that his throat was showing signs of soreness. Within a day or two, his throat felt OK. Another good remedy to prevent sore throat worsening. 

Getting reading for heavy eating during festive period

During the festive period, we eat quite a lot more. I was getting ready for steam boat dinner last night and felt the tummy feeling congested somewhat. Took a Essentialzyme capsule and applied Peppermint oil on my tummy. During the 1 hour drive, my stomach was belching and by the time we arrived at the dinner place - . Voila, my stomach was feeling good and ready for the great dinner.

Strained muscles

My wife carried a load of stuff from shopping (marketing) and somehow strained the muscles on her back. After applying deep relief roll-on and ortho ease, she felt better. A week later, somehow she strained her right arm again and this time she felt a lot more discomfort and even could not get up from bed.

Good thing we have the other oils. I decided to just use the single oil Wintergreen. Within minutes of applying, she said that she could feel the pain relieve. This time round, the application goes all the way down from the shoulder down to her ankles. In a couple of days, she could get up the bed as per normal. Therefore, it is good that we have different oils available. Sometimes we need to use the single oils and complement with the blends to produce better overall results.

Immediate pain relief and recovery

I was carrying a pail of water from the toilet and stepped on the door mat (not the non-slip type) and my foot slipped. The bottom of my big right toe scratched against the aluminium door frame of the sliding door. Within seconds, the blood vessels connecting the base of the big toe to the foot was swollen and turn dark color as if blood clot was happening.

Though I grimaced for a while in pain, I got hold of the Young Living lavender oil and applied a few drops. In a couple of minutes, I saw the swelling and the darkish blood vessel starting to reduce. I grabbed my iphone and took picture of the problem area.

Unfortunately, I did not capture the condition when the blood vessel was swollen and dark. My wife was frightened that I would have trouble standing since most of us will have lean on the big toe when we walk. Initially, I could not place the foot down completely. After that, I applied wintergreen and voila, within minutes, the pain is reduced significantly. We continued with our plan for afternoon tea.

For this minor incident, we learn again how beneficial to have the YL oils.

Bloatedness and complexion

Year 2010 ended nicely with the affirmation that Young Living therapeutic oils and products are truely remarkable and beneficial. When I first met Patrick on the first week of December, I was hoping that he would benefit from alternative ways to improve his health condition. On the christmas week, I saw Patrick and I was stunned for a few minutes when I saw him. The bloatedness of his face and arms are gone.

The sense of satisfaction and joy soon overwhelmed me. Indeed Patrick was deligent to use the different oils that are relevant for his health and also he acted immediately to recommend products to his family. Patrick was not on weight loss regime but was focused on improving his kidney condition and body imbalance. He said that the headaches he used to get are a lot less. I also saw that his complexion improved.
